Well....wow!
Jul. 21st, 2018 07:34 pmFirst of all, we received just a few days ago a small (very small) inheritance from The Colonel’s mother. We weren’t expecting anything, in fact Max told his brother that a sister-in-law should get whatever might be left after funeral expenses. As she had taken care of her in her last few months. Brother ingnored us and sent “our share” anyway.
The Colonel came home after a week of camping with Big News! Stargate Atlantis is having their 25 anniversary in Chicago next year. I didn’t tell him Squidgie broke the news first. I was being cautious, “let’s see if David Hewlett is going to come”
Nope, apparently IT’S A SIGN to use some of the inheritance money to go to the Con
The Big Guy gets on his computer, and bam 💥 we have tickets. Its a good thing he didn’t listen to me, the seats are selling out fast.
For me, it’s as much about meeting the other fans as it is seeing the celebs. There’s a few people I cannot wait to meet.
