Snowflake Challenge day 9
Jan. 9th, 2019 01:07 pmcommit an act of kindness
I don’t have anything specific to cite, but I appreciate this post as a reminder of goals (I think I like Squidgie’s idea of promises to himself instead of ‘resolutions’ because this is an ongoing thing for me. I have been focusing on getting my physical and mental/emotional health back. The struggles have always been there to, but since I’ve moved back “home” and with no kids to focus on, things long repressed have been slamming back to the forefront and have whammed me hard. But my point in all of this, is that I must remember the people who are dear to me. I have always been attentive and kind to the people I meet when out and about, especially service people. I tend to channel Rodney, I can be very oblivious and, shall we say, ‘blunt’with friends and family, So I am trying to remember to actively show love to my chosen family.
And now I’ve just been inspired to send a ‘sister’ who is going through a really sh*tty time some flowers.
