Snowflake Challenge day 7

Stretch yourself a little and try something new. Go play in a new fandom or with a new pairing. Try working in a new medium. Or check out some fanworks that are new to you.

I’ve been lurking around the Letterkenny fandom (thanks, Squidgie!) and the H50 fandom because The Colonel and I have finally caught up on the show.
I need to go explore the Person of Interest fandom, there are a lot of great writers over there. I think I must read Squidgie’s story tonight.

As far as art stuff, this whole past year has been about trying new things and I’m loving it. My latest obsession is with some calligraphy inks one of my kids bought for me. They are gorgeous, rich and deep and a bit of a challenge to use since they are nothing like watercolors.

I must go where the whim takes me

Which for some reason the whim decided that I should clean up my art room. Especially tackle behind my desk because that just doesn’t happen on the regular. I think I’m ready to go back to my sick bed. The amount of dead stinkbugs and dried up dog vomit is truly appalling. I think I’m in general a tidy, clean person. A sink of dirty dishes makes me break out in hives. But this, this mess makes me want to hand in my Neat Freak Secret Sisterhood Society badge.
And now His Royal Fluffybutt has come over to check out what I’m doing. I can tell he’s remembering each incident and how he waited until the dead of night to sneak one past me.
