Happy Canada Day! Happy Anniversary!

This day, Oh so many years ago, The Colonel and I got married. We decided to drive up to Port Angeles Washington and take a ferry to Victoria British Columbia. We went a few days early to avoid any 4th of July crowds when we came back. It was a fantastic trip, we had a great time, great food, lots to see and since we took the ferry, Rufio came with. The ferry ride home was a real highlight, we were allowed to stay in our car and spent almost three hours in quiet, watching the San Juan islands as we passed by.

We want to try a ferry trip to Alaska sometime. I’ve always wanted to see Alaska, but there is absolutely no one who can watch Rufio, Cruise ships don’t allow dogs, so a ferry is the answer.
