It’s been a little overwhelming with bi-weekly visits to the nurse practitioner, the weekly visits to the physiologist and taking care of the minutiae left over from The Colonel’s mother’s passing. Granted, I had very little to do with that, but still...

This morning I saw the psychologist, which was kinda meh, but we went to a new park to walk Rufio and that was nice. Then we hit a couple of shops and bought some more flowers for my little garden. We had lunch at a little cafe that was really yummy. It was really nice to do “boring” everyday stuff for a change.

I was rather disappointed in my non-ability to dig a few holes in the ground and had to have Max (The Colonel) do it for me. When I moved here just 5 years ago, I was working hard clearing brush and helping build and painting and such. But my all-white flower garden is coming along and my front deck is covered in pots with a great myriad of color. I would dearly love the summer continue to be mild so that I can keep up with it. One can hope. Or one can get up at 5:00 a.m. to work 😜
