Snowflake Challenge day 11
Share a book/song/movie/tv show/fanwork/etc that changed your life.
Coming into fandom has totally, completely changed my life. I have friends and a sense of community and family and my desire to contribute to fandom has made me work very hard on my art. Which is beginning to give me a sense of pride. I started on fanfiction.net The first story I read was “Still Waters” by gaffer42. It was longish and very well written and kind of tense. Wel, after that I had tol I read *everything* at that site and progressed to Wraithbait and other sites. I’m not sure which story was my first slash, but something in the John/Rodney dynamic resonated with me so deeply, I fell happily down the rabbit hole and never looked back.
